Speed Theory

1. Speed is a skill (the first skill to be worked on).
2. Speed is a year-round skill.
3. Repetition (over learning)
4. General approach (master running and it will enhance your athletic performance)
5. Relative body strength: Be the strongest athlete, pound for pound, on the planet and have incredible running technique that you have worked on for years and you will reach your potential.
6. How to apply Speed Training: Every session should not be 100%. Sessions should be 90% or less so the nervous system can recover.

Thanks to Martin Rooney of the Parisi Speed School DVDs.
